We are currently recruiting for three key roles that will help shape Zion's development as we progress our Third Place Development. These include the lead role in our children's and youth departments, an opportunity for a graphic design and multimedia specialist and a co-ordinating role in our community re-development project, The Third Place.
Youth & Childrens LeaderAre you passionate about children and young people? Are you committed to sharing the Christian faith? Do you have the skills to lead staff and teams of volunteers to deliver engaging, age appropriate activities for both churched and non-churched children and young people?
Zion Christian Centre is an Elim Pentecostal church with around 150 youth and children. The church has a reputation for community partnership in Halesowen and is currently leading on an exciting new landmark building development called the Third Place which will see new facilities built for the local community in conjunction with other third sector organisations such as the youth charity Phase Trust.

Closing date for applications is Friday 6th August, 2010. Media & Design CoordinatorAre you looking for a challenging role which will incorporate your skills in design and media production with your Christian faith?
Zion Christian Centre is a church with a reputation for community partnership in Halesowen and is currently leading on an exciting new landmark building development called the Third Place which will see new facilities built for the local community in conjunction with other third sector organisations such as Phase Trust. Unlike many design roles in industry, this role provides the scope to see designs through in their entirety from concept to printed material or multimedia presentations. You will also be an integral part of a small staff team with a passion to communicate the Christian message.
The ideal candidate for the position must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to strict deadlines, possess strong communication skills and have a passion for design.
Due to the nature of this role it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the post holder to be a practising Christian.

We anticipate the post being full time but this is negotiable, salary in the range 15-18K.

Project SponsorZion Christian Centre is a church with a reputation for community partnership in Halesowen and is currently leading on an exciting new landmark building development called the Third Place which will see new facilities built for the local community. We are looking for a Project Sponsor to play a central role in delivering this facility.
As Project Sponsor you would spearhead the project on behalf of the client and be the main contact with the Project Manager. The ideal candidate for the position must be have experience in running large projects and have be able to demonstrate the ability to work to strict deadlines, possess strong communication skills and have the commitment to see the project to completion. Sympathy to the Christian values and ethos of the organisation is essential.
It is envisaged that this will be a 0.6 role. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
